Returns and Refunds
Thank you for shopping at Heart Reads!
We believe every book is meant to be read and enjoyed countless of times. Therefore, if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, provided your purchase is in pristine condition, return it and we will refund the cost of the goods less the freight charges incurred. Please contact us before returning any items. All returns must be made within 30 days of dispatch.
If a return is due to a shipping error, manufacturing or publishing fault, we will gladly replace it with the same product or you may choose another product of the same value and we will ship them to you at no extra cost. We can also offer a store credit to the same value of items purchased and is valid for 12 months.
Changes to orders
You may change your book or product orders provided it has not been dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible and we’d be happy to accommodate your request.
Freight
Auckland area: $7.00. Delivery is usually within 2 working days.
Auckland Rural: $12.50. Delivery is usually with 3 working days.
Rest of the North Island: $12.50. Delivery is usually with 3 working days.
Rest of the North Island Rural: $17.30. Delivery is usually with 3 working days
South Island: $12.50. Delivery within 4 working days.
South Island: $17.30. Delivery within 4 working days.
*Packages are sent non signature unless requested.
Goods will be shipped using NZ Post/Courier Post.
Pricing and payments
All prices are listed in $NZ and include GST of 15%. Credit card payments accepted through our secure payment gateway provider Stripe. Heart Reads reserves the right to alter prices at any time.
Customs
We only ship books or merchandise within New Zealand.
Privacy
Heart Reads complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) when dealing with personal information.
We will never store any credit card details. Your credit card/Payment details will be held by a secure and trusted payment gateway provider, Stripe.
